The Dot-to-Dot watch tells time exactly the way you’d think from its name – by drawing lines between dots on its display. Dot-to-Dot would feature four small, segmented display sections, each of which initially display a series of dots on their faces. In addition to the cool black-on-white display, the concept calls for a white-on-black variant, as well as a variety of modern watch bands to go with. While the design is still just a concept, but  someday, you could actually be telling time with a connect-the-dot puzzle on your wrist.

The design and the interface are very simple and clutter. To tell the time you push the button on the side which illuminates the rings, count the rings from the middle to tell the time.  Solid rings indicate full hours, partial rings for partial hours in an intuitive manner. The idea for this watch design was inspired by the rings of a tree which tell how old the tree was when it was cut down.  This watch uses rings to count the time in a similar way.

A simple and futuristic looking timepiece with a playful analog charm. Gotta love this minimal design. The Dot watch is made of a single flexible strap covered with a stretchable, retractable PVC-based sheet. This is very unusual and wonderful hours. The construction – the principle of hydraulic pistons. One fixed and one moving, telling time by pumping oil from one side of the pistons to the other while simultaneously rotating the whole torus.  Since the pistons cannot pass each other, they must alternate between indicating the hours and minutes respectively. When the minutes catches up with the hours, the rate of rotation switches. This is indicated by LEDs on either side of the fixed piston.
